teyla is pleased
Hello, you have reached the voicemail of Teyla Emmagan. I cannot come to the...telephone? telephone at the moment, but if you leave a message after the beep, I will speak to you as soon as I am able.

...should I make a beeping noise now?

BEEP!

teyla is thinking & green
The cold sensation had started early in the morning. It was weak, and might have been almost unnoticeable, if it was not so familiar to Teyla.

Her people said it was a gift, her ability to sense the Wraith, and she could not deny that it had been useful in the past to know when the Wraith were coming. The deep cold in the pit of her stomach was a feeling she'd been used to since she was a child, but since she'd been in Fandom, she hadn't felt it once, not even a little. There were no Wraith in this place, or in this world. And yet, as the day went on and the feeling grew stronger, Teyla was certain that there were Wraith here now, and for once in her life, she didn't know what to do.

At the town meeting, she learned that she had been chosen to fight in the tournament, and she could not help but wonder who her opponent would be. If she stood any chance of winning, she could not let her fear of what she was sensing overwhelm her. For the moment, she was perched on her bed, attempting to meditate and calm herself. In the morning, she could try to notify the local law enforcement, but she was not entirely certain that they would believe her. All she could do for now was try to relax herself, and hope that her feeling was wrong.

teyla is surprised & staring
Teyla had spent a quiet day in her room meditating, relaxing, and thinking about how lovely prom had been, and she was still enjoying the solitude when her concentration was broken by a knock on the door. She was surprised when she opened the door and found a little girl smiling up at her. She was doubly surprised when the girl launched herself at Teyla's legs, hugged her, and called her Mommy. But the biggest surprise came when she pieced together enough information to realize who the girl - Marta - thought her father was.

"Lucas Scott?!" Teyla exclaimed. Someone was going to have some serious explaining to do in the morning.

[Establishy because the day disappeared!]

In which Teyla goes exploring in a slightly different way than she expected. )

Stepping past the portal, Teyla stumbled on the unfamiliar ground and fell. From her position, she glanced at her surroundings, immediately noticing the absence of any of her people, and the way this world looked nothing like what she expected. Something was very, very wrong.

[For one person in particular.]
